10 Biggest First Date Blunders
The 10 Biggest First-Date Blunders Dates can be very nerve wracking, especially first dates. Many people are full of anxiety and confusion as they try to develop a way of making a good first impression. The last thing anybody wants to do on their first date with someone they are interested in is screw it up. Especially since you do not get a second chance to make a first impression. Here are ten of the biggest first date mistakes many people make. The first mistake is talking too much about yourself. Of course your date is going to want to get to know you, but you should not spend the time you are together talking about yourself. Constantly talking about yourself will cause your date to think that you are very self-centered and that they will never be able to get a word in when trying to talk to you. Do not babble on about how your life was from birth until now. Give your date a chance to speak about themselves. You should try to get to know them as much as they are trying to get to know you. The second biggest mistake on a first-date is not talking enough. Some people have some type of shyness in them. But being shy during a date is not the best idea. This might lead your date to think that you are not interested in them or that you do not want to be there. Try to break out of your turtle shell. Ask your date questions and make sure to respond to theirs as thorough as possible. You should not expect them to carry the whole conversation throughout the date. The third biggest blunder is checking your phone, texting, or taking a call; all three of those mistakes are unacceptable during a first date. This will show a lack of interest in your date and it is very rude, and it will also lead them to think that they are boring you. If you are expecting an emergency phone call then you should let your date know ahead of time. The fourth biggest first-date mistake is having bad hygiene. It is definitely not a good idea to go on a date without smelling good

It is very important to give first impression in a appropriate way; because most of the people try to guess the personality right from the first impression and they act according for e.g. Some people may give first impression very bad like dressing up, way of talking “remember that your perceived personality is also judged by your physical attributes and how you present yourself to the people.”(www.exforsys.com accessed on 28th Nov 09) but with the passage of time you may come to know that they have an opposite personality and they gradually change. Same way there are some people who give first good impression and you may like them in the early stages but later on they may change and have a opposite personality for.e.g.narrow minded, impernent, negative thinking, pessimistic. The first absolutely awful experience I can remember from being an introvert, occurred during my 4th quarter during 7th grade. I had liked a girl named Nori for a long time and I felt the need to ask her on a date. At the same time, before I was prepared to, my friends were pressuring me into asking her. When I declined, my friend at the time, Stephen decided to tell me either I could ask her, or he would ask her for me. In hindsight, it was not a very good idea, nor did it help me get over my shyness.…
