There are many problems that appear to have been present at Paul’s previous employer, Utiliscan. Being a smaller company it may be harder for Utiliscan to afford to correct the problems that they are encountering, but it is very important that they try to correct as many of the problems as possible to improve employee morale and performance. The first step that Utiliscan needed to take has already been completed by Paul, he has identified, through an employee survey, what areas employees were satisfied with. The problems areas that have been discovered because of the survey are; safety, lack of continued education, dead-end job, no incentives, and below average benefits. Now that the problem areas have been identified, they need to be evaluated to see which areas would give the company the biggest “bang-for-the-buck”.…

If there comes a day that Judy is no longer able to formally lead the organization, her main responsibility is to find ethical advocates with equal management skills that will be a positive reinforcement to the White Dog Café, and keep the tradition of Madame Blavatsky’s spirit and commitment to others. Judy’s high involvement within the company leaves her no time to go through the hiring process for when she decides to step down from her position. Being an altruistic manager, Judy is capable of balancing not only an abundant amount of projects and programs for the community but also a four-star restaurant. When the restaurant was first established, Judy had enforced the four-part philosophy to the company; she had made it well known to the employees and influenced the stakeholder audits of what she wanted to accomplish. Even though Judy was able to achieve an immense amount of tasks, it would be more efficient for the company to hire different transformational leaders for specific areas of White Dog Café.…

    a) Firstly, we need to match its depreciation to revenue still being earned from the theater, small stores, and apartment buildings, until the building gets razed. This demonstrates that Archer Company’s intentions when purchasing the land and buildings, was to raze the old building and construct a combined hotel and office building and earn their intended revenue. They cannot however, spread the cost of razing over the remaining life of the old buildings because that would imply that Archer Company’s intentions of purchase was to earn revenue from these buildings at the time of purchase, rather than demolishing and constructing the hotel and offices.…
