8th Grade Graduation Speech

Welcome family, friends, teachers, and fellow students and thank you for coming to our 8th grade graduation. As we look forward to the future with excitement and anticipation, it is easy for one to become overwhelmed by the vast possibilities that our futures may hold; however, as we see our goals and objectives out on the horizon, life is about the journey, not the destination. We can all reflect back onto our transition from elementary to middle school. As we gained independence, we also obtained responsibilities. For example, in elementary we were always herded like cattle from class to class, but in middle school, however, we were the ones who were responsible for showing up to our classes on time, or at all.
