Angelina Jolie
On June 4, 1975, Angelina Jolie Voight was born to actors John Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. However, when Angelina was just 6 months old her parents split up. When she was 6 years old she was obsessed with death and she said that she would be a funeral director in the future. As she grew up, Angelina was no stranger to the acting industry. When she was only 7 she starred in a movie, “Lookin’ to Get Out”, with her parents. At age 11, she began to study at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. As Angelina went on to her teenage years, things started to become more complicated for her. The relationship she had with her father was destroyed. She once stated that she felt as if he was never there for her growing up. That’s why she cut off her last name Voight and only became known as Angelina Jolie. She felt as if that was the only way she could escape her father and his ways. As Jolie started to become more famous, she started to get more attention from the press. In 1996, she married “Hackers” co-star Johnny Lee Miller. At their wedding, she had displayed his name on the back of her shirt written in her own blood. Shortly after her divorce from Miller, she got married to former “Pushing Tin” co-star, Billy Bob Thornton. This relationship caused a lot of controversy because of the fact that he was 20 years older than her. The two professed their love by carrying a vial of each other’s blood on their neck. The marriage slowly fell apart and ended in divorce in 2002. One of the filming locations for her new movie was in Cambodia. While she was there she was introduced to a different part of the world that she never been introduced to before. She saw the culture and poverty of Cambodia. From that moment on, Jolie vowed to change her life for the better. The humanitarian chapter of her life had begun. She began to travel to refugee camps around the world and was soon appointed as

Fifth Element star, Milla Jovovich is sitting on the bed, wearing little more than her birthday suit, gazing longingly into the eyes of the man before her. Every detail of her body is in perfect focus. Her forehead glistens with the shimmer of an unconfident sweat. Milla has starred in a number of hit films, graced the cover of hundreds of magazines, and been the focus of thousands of advertisements, but the is no trace of a strong, independent, confident woman. She leans forward with a modest, crooked posture, one arm, defenselessly on her lap, the other supporting her limply. Most of her skin as well as all of her physical flaws are visible; she cannot hide anything. Her companion is wearing black. Most of his features that would be visible the angle are shadowed or out of focus. His flaws are wholly masked. He towers over Milla, literally casting his shadow upon her. His fully covering clothing leaves everything to the imagination and hides any possible flaws he might have. His hands are behind his back, he puts nothing regarding his personality forward and he presents a strong, unflawed image.…

There are several different meanings, and themes presented in the movie “Twilight Samurai”. This movie takes us through the everyday life of a 50-koku samurai. It is presented as a flashback, told by Iguchi Seibei’s daughter Kayana. The movie starts off with sorrow and hardships which is a very consistent theme throughout the movie. The title of the movie is very appropriate in my opinion. “Twilight Samurai” is not only the nickname that his colleagues gave him, but the word twilight also describes the period in Japanese history immediately before the Meiji restoration, which brought an End to samurai power and privilege (Twilight Samurai, 2005). Twilight Samurai is a movie about loyalty, honor, love, hardships, and death, but a huge part of this movie is also describing the dramatic changes in Japanese culture, and the meaning of life in a new world.…
