Being a member of Best Buddies and SAVE, I demonstrate a strong sense of dedication for supporting others and lending a helping hand. The goals of both Best Buddies and SAVE are to further acceptance, embrace diversity, promote safety in schools, and spreading positive energy. As a student representative, my sole objective would be to help enlighten the school board and those in the community about the daily life at MHS, advocate for the 1,600 students currently attending, and respectively relay any helpful amendments that would benefit the Mukwonago Area School District. The multiple clubs I participate in and the copious amounts of friendships I developed with people that have contrasting passions also allow me to speak on behalf of a relatively large group of students. The students taking part in the same activities that I belong to range from freshman to seniors. The opinions of a freshman compared to that of a senior’s may vary drastically, and being a part of clubs with a sample of each year will give me an advantage to hear an assortment of…
Your company paid $2,000,000 for a 30-second commercial to be aired during the SuperBowl 5 months from today. The ad has already been produced at a cost of $1,000,000. You capitalized the $2,000,000 cost of showing the ad on television rather than expensing it.…
Ms. Henrikson, Ms. Norris, and Ms. Gaynor inspire me in how they lead the groups and motivate students. They create enthusiasm learning environment, make things easy to understand and encourage students to make things happen. I admire them bringing out the best of the students inner abilities to learn and not hesitate to try. I want to be in the Sutter Leadership Class to learn and develop those skills that they…
As the leaders, our main job is to promote school spirit. We are in charge of notifying the student body about upcoming events from sports to band to academic quiz team. This is usually done through Twitter. Mrs. Davis trusts us to not post anything negative or inappropriate. We follow up the notification by having one or more of the leaders attending our events where we lead the Hawks’ Nest. But most importantly, we must make…
Being a leader is a big responsibility. Being a leader means you put others needs before yours, everything you do benefits others. Leadership is the ability to help people achieve things they don't think are possible. I don’t consider myself a leader yet but I do believe I’m on the correct pathway towards it and I’m close to achieving it. Being part of the program Upward Bound has mold me to being closer to a becoming a leader. I would like to be a student ambassador because being part of the RGV LEAD organization would mean a new learning experience and opportunity. Being part of this organization would be an honor because I know this is a big opportunity, not only for me but for my future.…
Describe the leadership qualities you possess that would make you a good COM Team Co-Chair to a first year student.…
When it comes to a motivation plan for any typical educational facility it is highly essential, any achievement of typical school institute. Teachers and students that have no motivation will never strive to be successful. So many factors come into play and become combined to a motivational plan so it will be able to meet the needs of teachers and students. Teachers need to be able to help students reach their goals and make sure that they set goals that are reachable. According to Hersey ( 2008), “ Goals should be set high enough that a person has to stretch to reach them but low enough that they can be attained .” The benefit of setting goals is that those…
There are many reasons why I want to become an Auror leader, my number one reason is because I frankly feel that my experience in Ursa changed me as a person and I want to continue the personal growth that Aurora has started while helping new students experience the same growth that I did. I have always been dedicated to helping those who are younger than myself. In high school I was on the track team and one of my favorite things to do was to mentor the first year athletes. By doing this I would show my younger teammates correct technique, and how to prepare for meets physically as well as mentally. Now that I am in college I love to help kids from my highschool who are interested in Penn State. I show them around campus, and I gave them…
If accepted, I intend to uphold the leadership aspect of the National Honor Society by contributing in meaningful ways to my community. I feel as though I have created forward momentum already by getting out in my community. This is shown through my time involved in 4-H, the leadership positions I held within it (President and Secretary), and the volunteer initiatives I have led in the past. In my opinion, a leader also needs the ability to be open-minded and independent; qualities I think are ingrained in myself. On the contrary, it is also necessary for a leader to be able to draw intrigue…
Lastly, I will propose having a community event, such as a community carnival. Having an event like this not only brings our school together but also our cluster and community. In order to get most of the students involved we will give community service hours to each student that participates in creating a booth. The grade level that raises the most money can have a reward.…
A.S.B. was an amazing class for me last year and I hope to be in it again. I would represent my Junior class in a positive way. It would be fun helping get kids involved in school activities. I would love to help with the school dances and assemblies because I am very creative. I think students should feel like school is there home away from home. Getting them involved and picking them for activities would give them a much better outlook and a good attitude towards school. I love getting decked out for spirit days so I would encourage other people to dress up with me! Leading in an enthusiastic way I will do the tasks at hand and get the work done, while being an example to others. I have a natural ability to improvise and adapt to every situation. I’ve had much experience like working a summer job at my Dads chemical company. In the office I helped work the phones for customer service. I also helped organize the company’s promotional events. To accomplish goals you must always respect others, work hard and get the job done; that’s what I think A.S.B. is all about. I’m up for anything, and available for whatever I’m needed to do. My family completely supports me as a leader and encourages any and all involvement that I am called to do. I am very energetic and enthusiastic about things and have many ideas. Also I’m very artistic and love to draw. I think one of my strengths is my creative mind. Being kind of a perfectionist is probably one of my strengths and one of my weaknesses. Sometimes I want to take my time to make everything right. Some things I could bring to A.S.B. are a fresh outlook, hard work and mainly new ideas. Maybe we could do some kind of marathon that went on the whole night till the morning; I think kids would have so much fun and we could still raise money. Otherwise I think A.S.B. is a great program and that’s why I’m running and would love to be in it again. I loved it last year and am hoping to…
Time management and stress reduction skills taught during leadership session are essential to functioning productively in an active high school life style mine which includes/ will include, GSA, 3 three choirs, INTERACT club (volunteers), a musical, an internship, 2 AP classes, the gifted program, and 2 one day STEM conferences. Using these skills during group project, term papers, mid-terms, and finals I hope to start preparing myself for a college pre-med lifestyle.…

The last time I was deeply disappointed in myself was in eighth grade. I decided to try to be accepted into ASB again. ASB, the Associated Student Body of CDM, was the mastermind of almost all activities that occurred on campus. The last time I tried out for this organization was during sixth grade, and I had been rejected. However, this time, I was more confident. I came to school, and I immediately started walking toward my locker, which was near the ASB room. As I was walking, I saw a paper messily taped to the dark blue door of the ASB room. I was certain it had to be the list of people who made ASB.…
