How Conflict theory can be connected with gender? Theories help people to make sense of what they experience through their lives. This essay discusses power from one sociological view: the Conflict perspective, predominately from Karl Marx. This theory shows that power is distributed unequally in society where governments, a ruling class, media and business elites hold the majority of power over others. On the other hand, I will include the impact that gender roles have in the society with Karl Marx ideas. Finally, I will express my own experience respect to conflict theory and gender in my childhood.
