Prepare a 700- to 1,050-word paper about the climate of your agency, focusing on the organizational behavior factors that have the most significant influence, such as:
• Leadership (upper management, middle management, and lower level)
• Culture
• Systems
• Law
• Influential stakeholders (political bodies, community groups, employees, and other agencies)
Explain why these factors have the influence they do, whether the influence is positive or negative, and what management must do to improve the organizational climate.
Note. If you are currently or were formerly employed by a criminal justice agency, use your agency as the basis for this paper. If you are not employed by a criminal justice agency, you may obtain the background information required to complete the assignment by either interviewing criminal justice employees about their workplace experience or using recent newspaper or periodical articles as the basis for your observations and conclusions about a particular agency.
