Manufacturers are faced with uncertain demand and have to deal with well informed and increasingly demanding customers.     The purpose of this report is to explore the uses and importance that development of the company migrate the current supply chain onto the e- supply chain. We are using an international dessert store named Dessert Point located in Melbourne as an example that analyses and compares their current situation and after used system situation. The current supply chain of the company is order raw material from Taiwan, then transport to Sydney, and transport to Melbourne finally. By our research, Dessert Point is facing challenges in their supply chain, with unsatisfied communication and control quantity of inventory. These no connection with the suppliers that the manager is only ordering from Sydney, it makes the warehouse hardly to replenish the inventory with correct quantity. The manager only guess the quantity and time to order, it cause the company with poor inventory management that constantly over inventory with limiter space or under inventory with insufficient sales. Then manager is using hand writing or hard copy to share information with the store staffs, this action causes the information is easy to lose by missing or wrapping in the bin. Also Dessert Point facing security issues that the manager is with poor security system on the computer, it causes the data has high risk been stolen by competitors, and loss company’s market value. To deal with these challenges, we suggest Dessert Point to implement Pronto Software, which is extended with RFID, EDI, ERP, ABC and etc.…
