Families look forward to vacation time it is always exciting. The family has to choose where they will vacation. There are things to consider when picking the right vacation location that everyone in the family will enjoy. Two common-places families choose for vacation is Disney, and a cruise. Both places have a variety of activities, which are fun. The cruise offers activities that Disney cannot offer and Disney offers activities the cruise cannot offer. Disney, and the cruise are totally different. This essay will compare and contrast the types of activities, climate, and the locations of Disney and the cruise. Both vacation locations have a variety to offer, and the choice will depend on what the family is seeking to accomplish on vacation.

First, the tree aspects of Disney are types of activities, climate, and location. It is important for a vacation to be enjoyable that the climate is pleasant. The hot weather in Florida is the first barrier to enjoying Disney, but the temperature and climate in Florida determines the types of activities Disney offers. Florida is a place that is always hot, and during the summer it rains every day. Disney is on land and the only water involvement is the water theme parks. A person can choose not to participate in the water activities if he or she cannot swim. The rain, however; does not mess up the vacation plans because the sun shines most of the time. The theme parks, water parks, shopping, and eating with characters are some of the activities the family can enjoy in Disney. Disney brings out the child in every adult, and children literally lose him or herself in the activities. Fun and sun are two words that describe Disney. The night life in Disney is fun however; the excitement is during the day.

Second, the three aspects of a cruise are types of activities, climate, and location. The climate for a cruise is both warm, and cold, and it is important depending on where a person wants to travel. If a person dislikes

In contrast to the other stories in the textbook, “Albert and Esene,” by Frances Khirallah Noble was very interesting because it shows us at first how important to have a good relationship between a husband and a wife. Then it was a happy ending story. In the story, Albert was a good husband to his wife Esene by being there for her anytime she needs him even though she didn’t has a child. All he did is to make the marriage more interesting than ever by treating her as a lovely wife, a partner for life and as human being who has feelings and who needs affection. Marring a woman and think that she is only made to take care of the whole family, or even think that she is made to be good in the bedroom is it really the only important thing in marriage?…

To begin, Florida known as “the sunshine state” hooks you in as soon as you enter the state. The beautiful palm trees blowing in the wind, the numerous orange groves you see from the roadside and the welcome center offering fresh squeezed orange juice makes you feel so at home. There are so many beautiful exotic looking flowers in the landscaping of homes and businesses. Of course, the warmer climate is the main attraction in Florida. The annual average high is 79F degrees and the average low is 57F degrees. Snow rarely falls in most of Florida, but has on occasion in the northern peninsula. Florida also has an abundant annual rainfall especially during the months of June through September. In addition, Florida is located between the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf of Mexico, therefore it also has exceptionally high humidity and of course there is always a chance of hurricanes as well. Undoubtedly, both of these items are a major downfall to me.…

There are two vacation spots I frequently visited in my youth that hold special memories for me. The two places are Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. When I was very young and lived in South Florida, my family would make our yearly two-week vacation to our home in Boone, NC. Each year, this trip included a visit to Gatlinburg. I hold very special memories of these trips and still love to visit the Gatlinburg area. When I moved to North Carolina in my late teens, Myrtle Beach was the vacation and summer break spot. Even on my first visit to Myrtle Beach, although very different, it instantly reminded me of my trips to Gatlinburg as a child. Although both places are very different, in many ways they are very much the same. After going from the vacationing child, to the paying adult, I realized more and more how both places appeal to the same vacationer. I also realized that forms of entertainment were either the same or comparable. Myrtle Beach and Gatlinburg compliment and differ in many ways, and a few of those examples are stage entertainment, restaurants, and scenic vacation experiences. Both vacation spots have tons of entertainment. Sometimes the problem with family vacation spots is not what are we going to do, but how are we going to do it all In Myrtle Beach, some of my favorite entertainment activities are Big Laughs Theatre Wild 4 Hypnosis Comedy Show. Located in Surfside Beach, SC, this show is a belly-laughing good time. This show consists of audience members being hypnotized and doing funny things they do not remember. The show is great for all ages, which makes it a family favorite. Another fun entertaining place in Myrtle Beach is The Carolina Opry. The Carolina Opry is the only show named, Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach by CNN, New York Times, and USA Today, just to name a few. Shows at this location would include, Light, a laser light show to music such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin, Good…

Add to this the promise of all you can eat gourmet food and days of pampering and you have what sounds like the vacation of a lifetime. This is for good reason. The cruise industry spends millions of dollars a year in advertising to ensure that this fantasy image fills the minds of not only potential cruisers but also veteran cruiser in hopes that they will return. Cruises were once thought of as a type of vacation exclusive to only those with the big bucks. However, advertising campaigns by modern cruise lines have been very successful in convincing customers that there is a cruise for every, budget, vacation preference and family dynamic. From Carnival 's "Fun Ships" to Royal Caribbean 's rock climbing walls and onboard inline skating, cruise lines are putting a lot work into moving away from the perceived "stuffiness" of the past in hopes of attracting new customers.…

Another very popular vacation destination is theme parks. Places like Disney World, Dollywood, Six Flags, Universal Studios and Sea World offer big doses of high energy family fun. Theme parks are most popular amongst families with small children. There are plenty of activities geared directly toward holding children’s interests. There is also something magical about theme parks that draws in adults. The sights, the sounds, but mostly the way they make them feel. They remind them of simpler times, like when they were children and didn’t have a care in the world. The benefit to these vacations is that they require very little planning.
