Grand Nursing Theory Paper

As it is also mentioned by Kenney (2013), many argue that some theories are highly conceptual and are not meant to guide nursing practice, but I believe these theories are intended to open minds, guide thinking, and provide different views and perspective. The point that I want to make is that theory guides nursing practice every day, it is the “why” behind the discipline. We as advanced practice nurses do not realize or consciously think about these models, theories, and principles during our daily practice, but they do guide our daily practice.
