HOSA Reflection
I have been leader to my community by supporting and challenging those who are around me. I’m a member of Health Student of America (HOSA). In HOSA, we participate in student led activities that relate to health care. My peers and I recently organized a hygiene drive for the homeless shelters in Central Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, The National Technical Honor Society at Cumberland Perry Area Vo-tech, decided to host its first Mini-Thon event. For this event we’ve collected over two thousand, which we donated to the Four Diamonds Fund. I’m also part of the team that organized the Soccer for Charity event. During this event we raised money for the drought that was occurring in East Africa.

    Under the presidency of S.A.D.D (Students Against Destructive Decisions) in my high school, I've conducted and lead many projects to help many organizations and even planned and coordinated many community service projects. The purpose on why I led this project is because of the purpose behind Feeding South Florida, which is to collect, pack and send foods to the many shelters and food kitchens that they have provided in South Florida and working on this project created a positive effect on my life.
