“The Industrial Revolution had more negative effects on the world community than positive effects.” Although the Industrial Revolution had some poor impacts on the societies back in the 1800’s, I believe that overall it has had a dramatically beneficial effect on life today. Back then, with the rapid spread of the Industrial Revolution, farmers who worked out on the large fields across the country side began to migrate towards the cities in order to be employed as workers to one of the many factories that had begun to develop due to the movement. This caused populations in cities to boom which lead to urbanization. Due to overpopulation, the living and working conditions were poor because the enormous amount of people caused a lack of sanitation in such little space. The more products produced, the less money they were, which increased economic activity. More people raised more money which helped them to radically improve their living conditions.
