How Do You Like Jugglers
Life is a circus, and all of us are the performers, constantly playing parts. Whether we’re young, old, rich, or poor. We all play a part. Through the MYP TOP BRICCCK we can all execute our parts perfectly. Some of the parts we play require balance, courage, and open-mindedness. First, like jugglers in the circus all of us require balance. Though, also like jugglers some of us are better at balancing the different aspects of our lives than others. We can all improve on this skill, though. One way we can improve is combining activities. For example, when you’re watching T.V. with your family you can also be doing math homework or writing a paper and getting help from the people around you. Another way you can become more balanced is creating a schedule. An example of this is doing your homework from when you get home to six o’clock, then, you do chores from six to six-thirty, finally, from sixth-thirty to nine is free-time. Finally, you can show courage by being kind to the less popular people in your community. For instance, you can stand up for the kid in your school who constantly gets made fun of, or you can make friends with one of the kids in your class who doesn’t have many friends. In conclusion, we need to be like fire dancers and show

It doesn’t exactly mean to be fearless about something, but to not let fear stop you from doing it. Courage can have a positive effect because it helps people to achieve their dreams and creates the opportunity for amazing things to happen. Everyone has different opinions, though, and some people think of courage in a negative way. The Columbine massacre was a school shooting, where two teenage students shot up the school and killed twelve students and one teacher. The first of these was Rachel Joy Scott. Rachel was a firm believer in God and Christ. In a way, she was a servant of God (life focus) “because she shined. She shined for God at all times.” (Ryckman 2). Rachel wrote a paper called “My Ethics, My Code of Life.” In it, she mentioned twice that she wanted her readers to start a chain reaction. She said, “I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go. My codes may seem like a fantasy that can never be reached, but test them for yourself and see what kind of effect they have on people around you. You may just start a chain reaction.” (you may 2).
