How I Learn
I have never really given much thought into how I learn, much less what style is best for me. Here, in this essay, I will give my own personal opinion regarding my learning style with findings from a couple of websites that help find what style is for each individual. I will also give a couple of reasons why, at this time, I am choosing to seek a college degree.
First of all, there are many ways to find what style or type of learner you are. There are three types which are: Audio, Visual, and Kinesthetic. After that quiz, I decided to take another referenced here: Bixler, B. (2010). Learning style inventory retrieved from http://www.personal.psu.edu/bxb11/LSI/LSI.htm. This quiz also suggested that I am a visual learner as well. I was curious to see if it was really true so, I visited one last website to see what it would find. This website was, personally, my favorite from the three I visited referenced here: The Center for New Discoveries in Learning. (2012). learning styles inventory retrieved from: http://www.howtolearn.com/learning-styles-quiz. This website broke it down for me and gave me percentages in each category of the learning styles.     Upon completing The Learning Style Assessment, as noted in accordance to Bixler, B.( 2010) the results state I am an 41 % auditory , 27% Kinesthetic, and 27% visual.
