“Last Man Standing: Politics Texas Style” is a dramatically captured documentary film about Texas Politics by filmmaker Paul Stekler, which focus on Texas politics, which constantly shift dominance of from past Democratic party to recently Republican party. This movie revolves around the 2002 party nominees, Patrick Rose and Rick Green is fighting for the House Seat in the district, which includes hometown of former president Lyndon Johnson, George W. During the movie Patrick Rose is very good at campaigning whereas Rick Green has been engaged in previous election. In the start, the fight between Rose and Green doesn’t seem fair and the results were indicated much more one way rather than competing for team Green. Team Green has support of big lobbyist and famous politician such as former president George W. Bush. While Team Rose has been repeatedly turned down from local businesses until the Rose connection with unethical activities were broadcasted in news and television. Team Rose used this information to the fullest advantages which work as a lifeline to their campaign. This involvement of Rick Green on fraud case while he was working on law firm was major factor of loss for team Green. People now have shifted opinion and seem confused with their nominee. Therefore, Team Rose used this to derive donors to the campaign held different meetings with Hispanic and white culture in their different cultural way and it was successful. This issue led a negative campaign against him and he was the least experienced candidate who does not have any idea of running a campaign. It is shown that Perry values his personal above ideological goals and that the campaigning and political battles associated with it (The New Republic 2011). Thus, Rick Perry has already been long in politics and has lots of experience in dealing with the voters. Texas election is a most diverse and unpredictable state as it was before. Since it is considered the Red state in recent times, but great candidate still can influence the political situation in Texas. Various surveys have shown urban areas in Texas are more liberal whereas there is still a stronghold of conservatives on sub-herbs and rural Texas. A great candidate who understands rich culture, variety and boldness of Texas can influence the election in Texas no matter it's in the district or in the
