Dear Samuel, I have just received your letter, telling me that you and your cousin are coming to visit Malta at the end of July. You have made such a great decision because there are a lot of interesting places to visit in Malta.

At first, I recommend that you stay in the Paradise Bay Hotel that is situated in Melliha. There you can eat in their high class restaurant that serves all types of traditional Maltese food. From there you can take a fifteen minute walk to the sea shore and have a nice swim there.

As for the night life, you should visit the night clubs that are situated in the heart of ‘San Gwann’. The place is called Paceville and I can guarantee that you will have a night to remember ! There you can eat at fast food restaurants such as Burgerking or McDonalds. There is also a shopping mall that you can buy several items such as clothes, jewellery, souvenirs and much more !

As you may know, Malta is very famous for its history regarding Pre-historic temples and museums. You can visit the old capital city of Malta, that is Imdina, also known as the Silent City. You cannot miss the opportunity to visit Valetta or go to the feasts that takes place in every village.

These are some of the many places of interests that you can visit in Malta, you can also go snorkling or diving ! There are unlimited places to visit in Malta and everything has a story behind it ! I can’t wait to see you next summer ! Hope to hear from you soon ! Yours truly, Mattew.

When the Knights arrived they were unhappy with Mdina as they were maritime people and they needed to be close to the sea, so they built Valletta. They fortified all of Malta and made it much safer to live in, and so people moved to the Maltese islands as they were safer and the population increased. At Valletta the Knights had a port made to have a place to leave their ships and to maintain them. This provided more jobs for the Maltese in the harbor. The Knights also needed people to build all of the fortifications. Since there were more job opportunities more people came and the population continued to…

Exploring the resort had a truly exotic and relaxing feel, matching perfectly with the staff’s attitude. Lounging by the pool, sitting by the bar, having a chilled out lunch upstairs, mustering a slow energy to participate in a quiet and peaceful canoe, casually enjoying a delicious Fijian ice-cream of milkshake or having a swing of the golf club were just a few of the activities to keep the naïve tourist entertained.…
