Violence can be expressed in many different ways one way would be domestic violence. Domestic violence is the violent or aggressive behavior within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner. Violence in any relationship is used to gain power and control in a relationship. 2 million injuries and 1,300 deaths have been the result of domestic violence. Domestic violence is the leading type of injury to women ages of 15 to 44 in the United States. Domestic violence can also happen to children and children watching others be put through violence can lead to long term effects on the child.
