Before discussing the main dependent and independent factors of critical realism theory, we need to know what the terms ‘dependent factors’ and ‘independent factors’ mean. The independent factor is typically the variable representing the value being manipulated or changed and the dependent factor is the observed result of the independent factors being manipulated.
The main dependent and independent factors that are being studied in critical realism theory are as follow.
