Personal Narrative: My Trip To Catalina Island

It was 4:00 A.M. The school was going to Catalina Island for a 4-day trip. I woke up and went to school. Everything was packed, however I had to eat some Airborne®. I ate it and arrived to school. I said goodbye to my parents and they left. “Now, where is my group?” I told myself. “Oh never mind, there they are!” “Nathan!” said my best friend Stanley. “You ready for the trip?” “You know I am,” I replied. We found our group, which contained 16 people, including me. Stanley was my tent partner. It was Anson, Andrew, me, Stanley, Scott, Thurman, Kevin, Andy, Leander, Charles, William, Kaden, Brandon, Nelson, Jacky, and Jordan. We went into the school bus and went to a port. “Why do we get this trash and not that?” “Calm Leander,” said Scott. “It’s probably not that bad.” “No,” said Leander. “This ain’t fair!” “It’s not our fault bro,” said Jacky. “Well, since I have nobody to blame, it’ll be you guys!” said Leander. We were excited of going to Catalina island. We sat on large containers and watched the waves past by. There was a downstairs deck, which sold junk food for a limited amount of time. They later hid the food because nobody was buying it. Then, Scott and I went to the other side of the downstairs deck to play a card game, “Mafia.” For people like me, it was pretty scary. We played for about 30 minutes, and I went back up deck. I looked around and it seemed as if everyone was dying, they were vomiting. That’s when they told me that group A-F’s boat already passed us. Two and a half hours later, we were feet away from Catalina.
