The purpose of this study is to find the connection between web design attributes and the user’s psychological feelings. This feeling is called “Kansei” which Nagamachi refer to as the costumer’s psychological feelings, and image of, a new product. Many professionals have studied about the different elements that affect the viewer’s psychological feelings. These elements were named, font type, color, and image size.
Holzschtag said that font types should be familiar to the web users while Red, Blue and Green have been selected since they are the three most commonly used colors. According to Boyle, Black is also included as a color since the most commonly used combination is black text on a white background.
As a result, the researchers have found that web users are not sensitive when it comes to common and familiar web designs. The experiment also indicates that the font color, font type and image size suggested by different books, is unable to give positive sentiments and colorful design does not necessarily attract the web
