TO IMPROVE THE CAPACITY UTILIZATION OF SECONDARY TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES USED FOR TRANSFER OF FG/RM/PM STOCKS BETWEEN FACTORY AND EXTERNAL WAREHOUSES, OPTIMIZATION OF SAVINGS AND INTEGRATION OF OPERATION

SECTION I: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The ABC.INC, Operation management is seeking concrete proposal for the optimization of saving and integration of Operation. As a part of ABC.INC team they appointed me as team leader for study and suggest proposal for coordinated Operation strategy would be warranted in order to foster its Corporate Principals targets while at the same time striving for increased efficiency. SUMMARY DISCRIPTION
Objectives
To optimize savings from transportation. Can deliver stocks at minimum Cost and secondly it will lead to good serviceability to factory and warehouse and cost saving. Integrated operation linking to 3 main drivers: Fleet Policy, Fleet Process (operational management, funding, etc.) and Procurement Process. ABC.INC main goals are to look at an optimisation of its supplier port- folio (3PL, Warehouses and Truck providers) at the same time aiming at a reduction.
Indicators Impacted (Success Criteria):
1. Increase in load ability of Secondary operation vehicles.
2. Low cost for transferring Stock from factory to warehouses and from warehouses to factory.
3. Dedicated vehicles can move from Factory to all locations.
4. Integration between warehouses and transportation.
5. Create one single dedicated Operation management supplier and identical SCM policy across various businesses scopes.
6. The purpose: to build the critical mass for operational efficiencies and procurement leverage

    The problem of nepotism makes its’ way into an organization when upper management begin favoring family members or friends, disregarding whether or not they are qualified or suited for a job. Its’ impact goes far beyond what many may realize, affecting virtually every area within an organization.
