Insect repellants are important tools for prevention of insect-borne disease as well as painful or uncomforatable insect bites. And on of natural insect repellant is the lemon grass(Cymbopogon Citratus).Determing the effectiveness of lemon grass as insect repellent is the main goal of the study.Specially,it intends to apply the Steam Distillation Technique in obtainingthe natural elements and essential oil of lemon grass such as citraland citronella.Using two candies as observation, one is with extract of lemon grass and other is without extract of lemon grass. In fourteen minutes, one candy that without lemon grass, approach by ants but the candy with lemon grass is just ignored by ants. The study has found out htat lemon grass is an effective and alternative natural insect repellent. The result of the present study would provide knowledge and information about lemon grass as insect repellent.Additionally, this study will produce significant and relevant information for future studies regarding to insect repellent.

We selected this research project because we want to compare the effects of using papaya’s papain and the commercial meat tenderizers that can be bought in many supermarkets. Some people also tried this research project, like Gian Paul Giron, a student in a university in Manila. It spurred me to work on this problem because other researchers did not accomplish in making the papain meat tenderizer available in markets and can be bought in a lower price than the commercial ones. The results of this study can make a contribution to attain a better quality life, because if this will be successful, consumers can now buy a meat tenderizer that is chemical-free. It means that the papaya that we will be using will not use any commercial fertilizers.…

Lemongrass is native to India and tropical Asia. It is widely used as an herb in Asian cuisine. It has a subtle citrus flavor and can be dried and powdered, or used fresh. Lemongrass is commonly used in teas, soups, and curries. It is also suitable for poultry, fish, beef, and seafood. It is often used as a tea in African countries such as Togo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Latin American countries such as Mexico. Lemongrass oil is used as a pesticide and a preservative. Research shows that lemongrass oil has anti-fungal properties.Despite its ability to repel insects, its oil is commonly utilized as a "lure" to attract honey bees. "Lemongrass works conveniently as well as the pheromone created by the honeybee's nasonov gland, also known as attractant pheromones. Because of this, lemongrass oil can be used as a lure when trapping swarms or attempting to draw the attention of hived bees."…

The project is all about viscosity. Viscosity is a very important quality of liquids that scientists, engineers, and even doctors are frequently trying to measure and change. It is difficult, for example, to transport highly viscous crude oil through offshore pipelines, so scientists and engineers use a variety of methods to try and lower the oil 's resistance to flow through the pipelines. Likewise, in medicine, doctors try to keep blood viscosity in the correct range. If blood is "too thick," or viscous, a patient can develop blood clots. If blood is "too thin, ' ' or lacks viscosity, however, then the patient is at risk for bruising or bleeding events. Blood viscosity, like most things in medicine, has a happy medium. Volcanologists have a big interest in viscosity, too. The viscosity of molten rock or magma determines how easily a volcano will erupt, and what shape the lava flows and resulting mountains will take on. The researcher would observe that knowing the time it took to travel through the column of a liquid, the height of the column, the density of the sphere, and the density of the liquid, the researcher can then calculate the viscosity of the liquid with the viscosity equation. The researcher 's hypotheses were yes, the researcher can determine the viscosities of the liquids by using marbles. The researcher needed a graduated cylinder, ruler, pentel pen, five liquids (oil, water, hone syrup, vinegar, and soy sauce), stopwatch and five marbles. The researcher needed to get the average time, velocities, the delta 's and lastly the viscosity of the liquids by following the procedures in the methodology part of this project. The researchers results were that the dropped sphere method used was the basic way of find a liquid 's viscosity. The honey syrup…
