Statement of Specific Purpose: To inform the audience about the Burj Al Khalifa’s architectural structure and the construction of the building.
Thesis Statement: The Burj al Khalifa, the world’s tallest single-standing structure, is the most carefully designed and constructed architecture piece in the world.
I. Introduction
A. Being Chicagoans, we find the Willis Tower to be the largest building of the Chicago Skyline; now imagine if you lived in Dubai, the Burj Al Khalifa is almost 1.5 times the height of that!
B. The Burj Al Khalifa
C. The buildings architectural structure has not only attracted large crowds of tourist to visit Dubai but it also has attracted individuals and entrepreneurs to invest their money to purchase apartments and commercial offices in the world’s largest single standing structure.

D.1. I used databases to find details about how the Burj Al Khalifa was built and how the construction was done.
D.2. I have talked to people who have visited the building as well as watched documentaries and read articles on the building.
