Superstore Day
After a while, I took a shower, eat breakfast and dressed up. I use public transit to go superstore to do some grocery shopping. When I was inside of the bus, I tried to speak with the person behind me by using hand gestures, but he was not understanding me so rather than talking I take a moment of silent. As the bus goes and goes on, I sat there for a long time, so I had to ask the driver. As I was asking for driver, he was not trying to understanding me so I wrote superstore on a piece of paper. After a while, he looked at me and he says there you go, but still I was confused where I am going and I went back to my own sit. Although, the driver dropped me at superstore. I went inside of the superstore, as I was doing grocery shopping. There was one lady standing in front of me. In this situation, I tried to use hand gesture to get rid of her from my way. But she was rude with me and it makes me frustrated, so I ask someone to help but no one was helping me out so I change my way and I continue doing my other shopping but at that time my focus is only in grocery. I was waiting for my uncle to talk with him but he did not even come to my home so I thought someone is going wrong with him. After a while, someone knocks the door and I opened the door, it was my grandmother from her house. I tried to communicate with her using hand gestures, but she was not being able to understand me so I thought writing on the piece of paper is a good idea. I wrote on paper in my own language (Nepali) by saying “I was missing you from back home when you left us”. After she finishes reading papers, I was already full of tears and I talk with her using hand gestures that I want to talk with you, but she tells me I will talk to your parents and she left me.     On 19th of March 2014, my tutor, classmate and I went to a Vietnamese Buddhism Temple. I was very exciting before the trip. Since I don’t have transport to go to the temple, I went to the classroom that we used to go during our class time and gathered with my tutor to ask her to fetch me to the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple. When I reached the classroom, our tutor, Dr Lili Zhang was talking to a male tutor about some trip to Japan and how the people there treat foreigner. So at around 12.55pm, we departed from our university to the temple. Since most of the students in our class have their own transport, there were only three students including me in the car. In the car, my tutor asked me about the lost planes of Malaysia and she briefly explained what we will go in the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple. It took 5 to 10 minutes to reach the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple. When we reached the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple, we saw many cars had parked at the car park of the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple and our first thought is most of the cars are the car of our classmates. This is because usually there is no much people will go to the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple. Once we had parked the car, we were gathered at the front door of the Vietnamese Buddhism Temple to wait all of our classmates who wanted to come.
