The person I admire
A person I admire

There is a Chinese proverb once said: “The very first teachers you have in your life are your parent.” Parents are not only your friends, your relatives that share the same bloodline with you, but also the best teacher you can even have in your life. They share their previous life experiences with you in case you make the same mistakes like they did; they restrict your behaviors in order to make you a better person in the future. I love my parents though both of them are pretty tough. They taught me loads of useful things, especially my dad. I admired him and show full respect to him. What makes him so successful are his personality and the way he treats the people around him.

He was born in a small town like all the other ordinary men of his age who was waiting for an opportunity to get out of the small town and fighting for a brighter life. Study hard, get into a famous university and find a decent job seems to be a good way to get rid of poverty. I guess it wasn’t that easy for my dad to get what he has now, so he values all his friends and treats them well. He cares about his families, he is not haughty when he gets wealthy; going back to our hometown with my dad and mom is the most important annual event. Whenever he has spare time, he always makes phone call to meemaw and keeps on track of her health. Furthermore, he is amiable to everyone, no matter you are a close friend of his or not, he always do what he is capable to help you out.

What got him out of the fate of being a peasant and working for the rest of his life is the things he learnt and liked. He is an expert in both science and high-tech; whenever there is an electrical device goes wrong, he could always manage a way to fix it. Once he was lived in his friend’s place, he fixed the air conditioner and the laptop for his friend in return for letting him crash. Because of his obsession for high-tech stuffs and science, I get to study something really cool inside the

Growing up in a small family, I witnessed the way my father took an active role in his family. He was the bread-winner of his family, yet he never neglected us. He is a loving father. He cares a lot about his daughters. My dad will do anything for his children. Since I could remember to this present moment, he was always been someone whom I can count on to help me in my time of need. He taught me how to be a better person by respecting myself, respecting others, and being a woman on integrity. He has been a good example for me by instilling strong family bonds; because of him I turn out to be a great mom to my children and a good wife to my husband.…

My Dad is an extremely hard working person. He is always up and ready for the day before anyone else in my family and He is also the last person up always working on His projects. Just as much of a harder worker He is my Dad is also twice, even three times nicer than. My Dad is the most loving person I know, He has been extremely supportive in all my endeavors in life. He always reminds me of how much He loves me and care for me, He also sacrificed so much of His life to give me a better opportunity. He works selflessly to provide for my brothers and sisters all our necessities and goes the extra mile to ensure that we have everything we need to be successful. He always is there for me when I need Him. He would literally drop whatever He is doing just to hear me rant or if I need a shoulder to cry on. He never belittles me or my problems and insecurities. He constantly reaffirms me of my potential when I feel just like garbage. He is always telling me I am destined for greatness, I am priceless and worth more than the world to Him. Even when I hear Him tell me these things over and over I believe Him because He is extremely genuine. It is actually because of Him that I want to help people with my life. He always told me to never be greedy or money hungry, but that I should use my wealth to help the poor. He never looks down on people in a worse position than Him, He always calls other people our brothers and sisters.…

When you knew how to speak, what was your first word ? It is Mom. We have grown up in the arms of our mothers. We have grown up in the great love of our mothers. No one loves us like our mothers, no one is willing to sacrifice everything for us like our mothers. If someone asks you “Who is the best woman in your life ?”, I bet you will say it is your mother. And if someone asks me like that, my answer also is my mother.…

He was able to successfully carry out a career that he did not go to college for. Matter of fact, he never went to college, and only completed a few years of high school. Through my interview with him, he allowed me to truly appreciate and admire him a lot more. One main adversity he got through was coming in to the United States, he believes that without coming to the United States his success would not have been possible. “Coming from a huge family, having 8 brothers and 7 sisters you did not always get what you wanted” (Gomez 2014). My father further explained that he was always having to share his things and he never had the opportunities that I have today. “I had to run a whole mile in order to get to class, there were no buses, because we lived in the country, and I had to run to the city every morning to get to school” (Gomez 2014). My father continues with his story, “every morning we all had to do chores, mine were taking care of the farm animals. I would milk the cows every morning and since I had to do my morning chores before school, sometimes I ran late and I had to go to school smelling like farm animals and sweat” (Gomez 2014). The dedication put into working back then is not the same today. For everything there is always an excuse made up. I myself have made many excuses, but it takes an educated person to not make excuses. He could have easily said I am not walking a mile to…

    A Person Who I Admire

A person who I admire is an interesting topic. I believe you can admire more than one person. A typical admiration I have seen is when people boy, are admiring a very famous singer, actor etc. although it is typical, it is still a good admiration because you can use that person as your role model or idol. Fx. If your role model is a sportsman, then you can admire his performing skills, and maybe learn something from him or her. But trough my life I have admired many persons, friends, older people, teachers, etc. All these people have given me experiences and personal abilities which I have acquired with help from them. My opinion is that I cannot admire one person specially. When I admire someone I respect the person’s character. After my experience I also admire someone when I am in his presence. A person who can change a bad day to a good day, fx my mother. My mother is defiantly one of my top 3 list over admired persons. Just imagine without your mother you would not exist. Everyone should admire how housemothers are struggling to raise there children’s. I am indeed of her proud of my mother, it is because of her that I am that what I am today. When I always have been in a bad mood my mother opened up my minds to look at things in a different perspective. Fx when I has had a problem she shared her experiences with me and learned me to tackle every situation. Another important person who I likes to admire is my father. A father and a mother is an admirable couple that forms a basis of a children’s life. My parents are like advisers, I can talk to them when I need help. They are motivating me to achieve my goal. I promised myself when I grow older and start a family, i will tell my children’s about my childhood and how I admired my parents. At least my expectation for myself is that I can be a loved parent. I really hope that I will have the same kindness that my parents have. My parents taught me that I can have a good life in 2 ways. The…

The person who I admire is one of the best Croatian and Europian basketball player Dražen Petrović. He was born in Šibenik and he started to play basketball with his brother Aleksandar. I don't know a lot about him but the most important thing I know is that story about his persistence. Once when I was said and disappointed in myself my father told me story about him. Well We all know how the great player Dražen was but however great he was he always after his trainings staid alone in the gym and he was shooting on the basket about two hours. So after he became one of the best European player he went to America to play in NBA. But the problem was that when he came there, there was a many players like him and maybe even better. So in the beginning he was sitting on the bench on the matches while in Europe he was playing for almost the hole match. He became a little desperate but he didn't give up. He again started to be alone in gym after ever training and he was shooting on the basket but now for even four, five hours. He wanted the perfect shot. After hard trainings he again started playing for almost hole game. He won the many titles ACB most 3PT field goals made by an individual and he was one of the best 3PT shooter in the hole NBA. After he died in the car accident the hall world was said about him. The day before he died he played his last game for Croatia. Petrović was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. He is my best basketball player because all his life he played basketball with hurt and he didn't play basketball because money, he played basketball because he liked that sport. This story taught me that if we are good in something we had never give up. We always need to improve our talent and made him better. In this moment maybe there are many people better than us but the most important thing is that after hard working that we are satisfied with ourselves.…

    > First and foremost, I want to describe about the characteristics of my father that I love so much. Everyone in this world has their own father and surely they also have their own opinion about the characteristics of their beloved father. So do I, I also has my own opinion about the characteristics of my father that I impressed from I am kids until who I am today. He is an open-minded and a patient person because if I want to share anything to my father, he will listen carefully on what I want to talk about and after that he will try to give the best solution to me to solve the problem. After that, he is good disciplinarian because my father loves his children but he does not let we get away with murder. He strongly disapproves of his children's misdeeds, using tough love to prove a point. He does this through the power of his words, not his fists. Furthermore, he is a firm father too because when he set a rule, he still give we a little freedom to break it with a rational reasons.…
