How golfs impacted on Australia Though people won’t know it golf has made quite a big impacted on Australia through sport, media and the Olympics. Australia was never very into golf, we didn’t have many aussie golfers playing in the PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) and none of them were winning anything. That was until 1947 when Peter Thomson turned professional. Thomson was a prolific tournament champion around the world, winning the national championships of ten countries (he won the New Zealand Open nine times).…
Now, if you have put in a lot of practice time but still do not feel like you've got it, ask a golf attendant at your golf course for some tips. Or, you could take private lessons. With a few lessons, a golf drive that once seemed impossible may soon feel more attainable with some guidance. Or, you could ask a fellow golfer for some tips on how he or she hits the ball. Many golfers enjoy telling stories about their golfing experiences and lessons learned.…
The sport golf is not a game of perfect and I not only chose to base my concept map off of golf because I like golf, but because things don’t always go as planned and the United States of America has hit many “bumps in the road” to get where we are today. My topics support the idea of the change in America because every single one of them altered America in a Permanente way that cannot be changed. Each one of the ways I chose also grew America in some unique way.…

Baseball is the greatest sport ever made by mankind for many reasons. The level of excitement and passion for the game across the globe excels over all other sports. Over my career, baseball has taught me many things, and overall has made me a better person. As player, I began playing in House League with many other kids just like me who had a passion for the game. This sport gave me the opportunity to build friendships with children who had many of the same interest as me.…

Golf is a sport that takes a lot of practice to get to a point when a person is happy with their abilities. Also Golf is a mind game where the person playing cannot get mad, give up, or change your form to try and dig the round out of the hole its in. A lot of people say the whole game is between the ears and there is a lot of truth in that, but it also takes a lot of practice and time. At the beginning of my freshman year I didn’t practice and didn’t take it very seriously, but as the season grew old my work ethic changed completely. I was at the range 3 days a week and hit the range before matches. Never give up when your not doing your best keep trying practicing because it will change.…

On many levels is sport very important to each and every one of us for a various number of reasons. First of all sport and fitness is what helps us keep in shape and stay healthy which is key to living a long and happy life. There are many benefits to being fit; first of all you will have much better health, and a better body image which in turn may help your self-esteem. Another major importance to sport is that there are so many career opportunities in the athletic field such as: gym teacher, pro athlete, sports analysts, physiotherapist, personal trainer, and many more. Also sports can be used as a stress relief to just get away from it all and shoot some hoops or play pond hockey. From a personal level I have made many friends from playing rep hockey 4 times a week to pick up football on the weekends and many if not all of my friends I’ve met playing sports both Rep and High school. On that note there are both positive and negative attributes of playing for your school or rep team. For school you get to play with you group of friends and represent your school, although it may not be the highest level of competition it’s great fun and a lot better than doing nothing. With playing rep you get to diversify your friend group, hopefully play at a high level but it does consume your life with your sport not leaving much room for a job or school work. Whichever one you choose it doesn’t matter you’re getting out there and doing something your love to do. To finish up I hope to be involved in sports as long as I possibly can even though I am not competing at a high level right now I hope still be playing hockey with my friends in college and after that still playing with them in a beer league somewhere, and after that possibly coach my kids sports teams as much as I can and showing them the “tricks of the trade” and isn’t that what it’s all…
