Parent and teacher play an important role in helping children develop a growth mindset. Dweck emphasizes the importance of creating a growth mindset environment in the classroom. She says that it is important for teacher to praise children for the process which they participate in, and the effort they put into their work. Geoff Masters, the author of “Towards a growth mindset in assessment” claims how important it is for teacher to give children credit by praising them. He thinks that it is an important factor to build up children’s self-esteem, which is a crucial trait to have for their life.     Growth by most definitions is an increase of some sort or another. Growth means starting at one point and continually achieving more over time. The growth mindset is no different.
