1. Executive Summary

This report provides an analysis on the way managers should manage international teams so that they can be effective and successful. There are a lot of difficulties in team working when members are representatives of different cultures, but they can be overcome by having a deeper knowledge on the main areas of managing a team. The report focuses on the team building process discussing the meaning of the conception international team, it also shows ways how to make the teamwork effective. Since the leader is the main figure in the team, it is explained what kind of leadership skills the manager should posses. In the report takes place the importance of motivation, which is the major method of management as motivating the team members leads to the successful achievement of the goal. Miscommunication is a serious problem in international teams because of the cultural differences between the members. The report highlights what miscommunication causes and how it can
