Intro: Zinedine Zidane is a highly successful football player. Zidane played as an attacking midfielder for the clubs he played for. Which include big names such as Juventus and Real Madrid. Throughout his career Zidane accomplished many things such as: League titles, Medals, Cups, and trophies. For all of his accomplishments he is currently regarded as one of the best football players of all time.

Early Life: Zidane is of Algerian Kabyle Berber descent. His parents, Smaïl and Malika, moved to Paris, France in 1953 before the Algerian war started. After moving to Marseille because of the lack of work opportunities in the small cities of Saint Denis and Barbès, Zidane was born into the family. Zidane was the youngest of five siblings. It was in Marseille that young Zidane was introduced to football at the age of five, playing in the main square of a housing complex. Nonetheless Zidane enjoyed it and was constantly attending the matches hosted there.

Club Career: At the age of ten Zidane got his player’s license after joining a local club in La Castellan, Marseille. From there on he
